Setting up by collecting and recognizing each item from the studio

My first try was a failure (Figure 1.1), as shown below, the bulb didn't light up. After watching the videos and texts on the websites, I realized that the reason for that was there was actually no electricity on the right side. So the yellow wire didn't work to connect.

Then the second try succeeded. These two tries made me understand how the electricity flow works in the breadboard, and it helped a lot for the following experiments.

Question 1:
For the parallel connection, it was obvious that the other two bulbs' lights were less bright than the other one. I assume that there was some energy lost in the parallel situation. As a result, I wonder if there are some solutions to increase the efficiency of the electric circuit.
Also, I would like to find out how to operate the circuit in series to reduce the use of wires and improve energy efficiency.

Question 2:
For the left image above, the connection was successful; however, for the right image, after I press the button, the red bulb's light was extremely small and I can't observe the green light with my eyes. I had no idea why that happened.

The switches worked successfully. I was able to use different buttons to control different lights; also, I could press them together to make them light at the same time.
Question 3:
