Lessons learned from this lab:

1. Use the correct tool.

   When I wrapped the wires, I tried to peel off the rubber part outside the wire with my hands and wrap it up together; certainly, I failed multiple times. After consulting my classmates, I realized there was a tool that was for it. As a result, it is very important for us to use the right tool when we do labs; by using the right tools, it will become much easier and faster.

2. Check the connection first when problems come up

   The sound sometimes will be interrupted since the connection between the speaker and the breadboard are fragile and sometimes when the wire touched the table or rubber part. Therefore, sometimes the there are no sounds coming out from the speaker may because of the connection problem. Always check the connection first.

Problems and questions when doing the lab

• When I worked on the last part of the tone output lab, I noticed that not every sensor would work as expected. Only the first sensor would play the melody as I touched it when I applied the last paragraph code to Arduino. However, when I applied the other code, the melody came up without any sensor touching, and when I touched the second sensor, there was some noise coming out. I am still trying to make it work.

• When I did the servo motor control lab, the motor was extremely sensitive. It would move without any touching on the sensor. So I changed the range of the map and added one delay to it, and it worked finally. However, the motor was still not very stable as I noticed. I was confused about the reason caused for the instability. I have a few assumptions: First, the resistance in the motor was too small; second, the available range was different than what showed in the code.
